Ok guys, here's the rules if you want to play here. Please read them before joining and applying for a character, and above all else, follow them as best you can. Thanks.
1. NO GODMODDING! In online role playing, this is Golden Rule #1! It means no playing other people's characters without their permission. Don't say they moved or spoke unless said character actually moved or spoke in their previous post, or if you have permission from the player themselves.
2. NO POWERPLAYING! Golden Rule #2! Every punch, kick, slap, bite, scratch, claw, knee, flick, headbash and suplex you try to pull off does NOT always hit. In vice versa, you cannot magically dodge every attack sent your way or leave a fight without a scratch.
3. NO DOUBLE POSTING! Golden Rule #3! Give people a chance to reply! If it's an accident, make sure you ask a staffer to clean it up for you, and we will, it's no problem at all.
4. Do not bring personal disputes into the roleplay. If you have a problem with a handler, you need to take care of it through an outside source or contact a staffer with your problem.
5. Substantial posts are required! When starting a thread, you need to be able to describe your character and their surroundings so that characters joining your thread can respond accordingly. At least two paragraphs when starting a thread. After that though, they can be shorter if you want, but still need to have some meat to them.
6. Respect the staff. We work hard to help keep this site going.
7. Respect other members. We're all here to have fun, not start making fun of people because we don't like them or don't agree with what they're doing or how they're playing a character. If you have problems, contact a staffer!
8. Already created characters will be given first opt over OCs. Don't take this to mean that OCs are forbidden, they are just trickier. If you have an OC you really wish to use, go ahead and apply and it will be considered like any other application.
9. This is a 17+ site, so be warned. 17+ means mild to strong language, mild to extreme violence, mild scenes of a sexual nature, and sensitive topics, issues, and themes. If you are not comfortable with any of these, then this is not the site for you. However, keep in mind that the sexual nature is to be kept to a bare minimum. If your characters have relations, do a time skip to the next day or something.
11. Signature and avatar graphics ARE ALLOWED. Avatars are to be no bigger than 100x100 pixels, and should be of the character account you are using.. Signatures no wider than 500 pixels and no taller than 250 pixels, and should also relate to the character. Any graphics in violation of these perimeters will be removed.
12. We are in no rush around here. As long as you don't up and disappear for a year, your account won't be deleted due to inactivity. We understand that real life all-to-often intrudes on internet fun. That said, do try to come as often as you can though.
13. Stay In-Character. A character will change, evolve and adapt to the circumstances that they experience in the RP, but keep it in the boundaries of their established canon personality.
14. Don't pop in as your character if it doesn't fit the situation at hand. What this means is, if there is a current arc going that is happening with some specific characters, don't have yours just "charge in" to be there, even if it's your characters debut. If you think it can be done without derailing anything, please ask a mod in a PM first, IF ITS AN OPEN THREAD. Also, PM if you want to open a seperate thread for your character's events if you think you want to start out seperated or become seperated, and it will likely be allowed.
