Character Name: Junpei "JP" Shibayama
Nicknames/Psuedonames: JP (what he goes by), Legendary Warrior of Thunder
Character Age or Age Appearance: 14
Race/Species: Human...and Digimon when the Spirit of Thunder is in use
Physical Description: Jupei has brown hair, brown eyes, and is a little on the chubby side. While he's not fat, he perfers to hide behind baggy clothes (perferably blue in color) and a smile.
Distinguishing Features: JP can transform into a Digimon courtesy of the Spirit of Thunder choosing him as it's wielder. Also, his laugh is said to be infectious and he is good with magic and slight of hand despite what his appearances might suggest.
Personal History: JP is the oldest Digidestined of his determined group of chosen and as such, feels that he has a responsibility to help protect and take care of people younger than himself. However, no matter how noble JP and his intentions are, he has never had any sort of friendship with anyone. Often being made fun of and completely ignored or taunted, he turned to sweets and magic as a soulace from the outside world's cruelties. However, JP's not a loner, rather he just has a want and need for a friend...though that wish has not been answered.
JP comes from a rich family, though none in his group know this, and it's not something he brags about to people. He'd rather not face even more alienation that he already does and so being rich is something he doesn't advertise. JP has a fear of thunder despite holding the Spirit of said element.
Personality: JP is a kind hearted guy with a love of sweets and girls. Whenever anyone's down he'll be there to cheer them up with magic tricks, a joke, his infectious smile and laugh, or a candybar. He can sometimes get easily jealous but it's only of those in leadership roles when they ignore he even exists.
However, JP has a much darker side to his personality. A snide, cruel, sarcastic, and vengeful side to himself that whispers JP's true thoughts and feelings on any situation even if JP doesn't realize he actually thinks those things. This is the manifistation that comes out whenever JP digivolves into MetalKabuterimon. JP would rather forget that this aspect of his personality even exists but it's always there in the back of his mind covered in a dark thick fog and constantly reminding him of his so called friends and their "betrayal".
Magical Abilities/Special Skills: JP is a master of magic tricks, cards, and slight of hand. If he wanted to, he could steal your wallet without you even knowing...better yet he could even steal your belt and the pants you were wearing. However, JP doesn't use these talents for evil. Rather, he is only a master of magic and the slight of hand because he had no friends growing up and learned things to amuse himself. Also, JP possesses the ability to transform into two Digimon: Beetlemon and MetalKabuterimon. However, JP has no control over MetalKabuterimon and never under any circumstances does he want to use it.
