Character Name: Daisuke Jigen
Nicknames/Psuedonames: Jigen, "The Fastest Gunman In the Underworld"
Character Age or Age Appearance: 30
Race/Species: Human
Physical Description: A tall, somewhat lanky man, with piercing eyes and a cigarette constantly sitting between his lips. Always seen wearing a fedora, suit, and tie. Jigen has black hair that goes to just above his shoulders and a black beard. His eyes are almost always hidden by the brim of his hat and he always has his trusty Magnum at his side.
Distinguishing Features: Fedora, suit and tie.
Personal History: Jigen was originally of the Mafia before he and Arsene Lupin the 3rd met under less than perfect circumstances. After a few heated meetings, the two became partners and friends in crime. Jigen refers to Lupin as "Boss" but it's not a term of servitude, rather, it's a term of endearment. Despite having a Japanese name, Jigen's nationality and origin are uncertain though it's assumed he's American. Jigen is extremely loyal to Lupin and almost always partners up with him for a given mission. He especially distrusts Fujiko and becomes irritated when Lupin goes along with any of her plans. Jigen is the "big brother" of the group, and often serves as the voice of reason to Lupin's impulsiveness, as he must because of his friendship with Lupin as well as out of sheer professionalism. However, he has long since resigned himself to having to go along with the craziest of schemes.
Personality: Like Lupin, Jigen has a sharp sense of humor and genuinely enjoys participating in each caper. He is, by far, the more pragmatic of the pair, with a cynical streak founded in failed romances Jigen is calm, cool, and collected in most situations. Jigen's been known to say "Guns are like women, they're hard to handle until you get used to them.". This philosophy could have something to do with Jigen's horrible luck with women and love interests over the years. Lupin's even told him he should just buy his gun a ring and marry it! Jigen's subdued mannerisms usually keep him out of the spotlight and he is something of an introvert; however, this doesn't mean that he's apathetic to what's going on around him. Jigen would just rather let Lupin take the reigns and do the smooth talking while Jigen provides back up.
Magical Abilities/Special Skills: Jigen can perform a 0.3 second quick-draw. Jigen is also amazingly accurate with ANY firearm (except for when suffering from cavities or aching teeth). He has the ability to use any kind of fire-arm including: Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, PTRS Anti-Tank Rifles, and his weapon of choice-Smith & Wesson M19 Combat Magnum.
Weaknesses: His luck with women (they either betray him or end up dying), Chain Smoking, Fear of Dentists
Anime/Manga/Game Character is from: Lupin the 3rd
Timeline: Jigen was transported to The Pathways when he, Fujiko, and Goemon were traped under a giant magnet and had motion detecting bombs at their feet in the movie: Missed By A Dollar. As the power was shut off, Jigen found himself in an alleyway near a series of apartments in The Pathways. He has no idea that Lupin is, in fact alive and well, nor does he know the current condition of the others. He's been here in The Pathways for just a little over a week now.
