Physical Description: Average height, black hair spiked in the front, large nose and glasses, skinny.
Distinguishing Features: A large nose and glasses.
Personal History: He met with his best friend Ichitaka somewhere during their middle school years, and ever since he has been in charge of trying to help Ichitaka hook up with the girl of his dreams.
Personality: He seems to think himself a pro with the opposite gender despite his somewhat nerdy appearance and lack of success with girls. He is often found giving Seto encouragement and good advice. Though sometimes his help is unwarranted and sometimes ends up in a bad situation, it seems that he means well with his actions and is bummed when Seto doesn't succeed. Ichitaka spends a considerable amount of time through the story continuing to ask for advice, but as the story progresses he learns to not rely so heavily on him. He is generally interpreted as well-meaning but also a jerk, a pervert, and not exactly the smartest person in the series.

Timeline: After the end of the series. Teratani was on a way to visit with Ichitaka at his apartment, when he saw a kitten fall into the river he was walking by. He jumped in to save it, and had to swim almost halfway to the bottom to get it. When he swam back up to the surface, he found himself in The Pathways, and the kitten was nowhere to be found.
