Under a large tree (Open)

[Pikachu]

Pikachu rolls over on his side and struggles to open his eyes looking at the large tree he is next to. He sits up and twitches his nose looking around for Ash. They had just battled a few hours earlier and Ash decided it was more important to eat then to get him fixed up.

"Pika...Pika pi!"

He called out looking around him for Ash or one of his many women traveling partners. He could no longer tell the difference between them. Pikachu scratched his bottom and sniffed around but couldn't find anyone. He heard a low grumbling sound from his stomach.

He stumbled through some bushes and could see a large city in the distance, he came up to a small path leading into the city.

GRBBBLE

"Chuuuu*

Pikachu let out as he collapsed on the ground.

[Kenshin Himura]

Kenshin walked along the forest path, trying to find his bearings. "This is odd, it is. None of these trees look native to Tokyo...or Japan for that matter."

As he walked along, he shielded his eyes from the light. It got brighter as the trees thinned, and he thought he saw some buildings in the distance. When he finally got close enough, he looked closer. His eyes bugged out. "ORO!?" he let out loudly, causing birds to fly away. Looking at all the big buildings, he walked forward with his eyes still bugged out.

"I've never seen such buildings, I have not. What a sight this is-s-s, Oro-roro!?" he said as he tripped over something under his feet. Getting back up he looked behind him, causing his eyes to bug out again. "Oro!? They have huge yellow mice too? What kind of place is this!?"

[Pikachu]

Pikachu cries out in pain and looks up at what just hit him.

"Pika!!!"(what the hell is your problem!?)

he yelled looking up about to zap him. But his eyes glowed seeing the red headed woman standing in front of him.

Secretly he said to himself "Chuu pika pi"(I'll use my cuteness on this babe and get some food.)

"Pika pi. Pikachu! Pika pika!." He said waving his tiny arms motioning over his stomach of hunger. He looked up at Kenshin with his big black eyes and the small sparkles in them. He sniffled and wiped his nose.

Kenshin continued to stare at the little creature with his eyes bugged out. As he processed what was going on, he sighed and smiled. "You're hungry aren't you, little fellow. Well, I don't have much, but what I do have I am very willing to share with you, I am."

With that, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a lump of bread Kaoru had given him for his walk. Ripping it in half, he gave half of it to the creature, and put the rest back in the pocket. "There you go. Hmm..." He toyed with names for the creature, when he remembered the noises it had made. "Ah, I know. I'll call you Pikachu-san."

He offered his hand to Pikachu. "My name is Kenshin Himura. I'm but a Rurouni, or wandering samurai. I'm afraid that food is all I have. Would you like to go to that big town with me? I'm sure we'll find lots of food there." He said with a smile.

[Pikachu]

Pikachu's eyes glowed in happiness as the woman gave him a piece of bread. He swallowed it whole and sighed in relief. He smiled and bowed his head "Pika." He said smiling.

"Ah, I know. I'll call you Pikachu-san." she said

Pikachu's eyes narrowed in despair but shook it off quickly back to his cute self.

He offered his hand to Pikachu. "My name is Kenshin Himura. I'm but a Rurouni, or wandering samurai. I'm afraid that food is all I have. Would you like to go to that big town with me? I'm sure we'll find lots of food there." He said with a smile.


Pikachu smiled and nodded reaching his arm up to kenshin's "Pika pika."(Sounds good to me) He wasn't tall enough to reach it though, he sighed and continued to the city with Kenshin.

[Kenshin Himura]

Kenshin smiled. "OK, here we go then." With that, he picked up Pikachu and put him on his shoulder so he could ride there. "It'll be much faster if I run there. Here we go!" he said, setting off at a fast pace.

He laughed as he saw Pikachu struggling to hold on out of the corner of his eye. "Am I going to fast for you Pikachu-san? Want me to slow down?"

[Pikachu]

Pikachu cuddled up on Kenshin's neck and peered down into his open shirt. Pikachu's eyes widened "PIKA!!!!"(HE'S A DUDE!!?) but at the same time Kenshin started running and Pikachu held on for dear life to Kenshin's shirt.

"Am I going to fast for you Pikachu-san? Want me to slow down?"

Pikachu nodded furiously keeping a tight grip on his shirt.

Kenshin laughed. "Well I would slow down, but it looks like we're here now, we are." he said, skidding to a stop in front of the city.

"Now, let's go find something to eat." he said, walking into the city carefully, with Pikachu on his back.
