It is said that every universe is connected to one another; whether by fate, similar histories, events, technologies, or some other unknown source. There is one place where all the different universes cross: The Pathway.
The Pathway is a large city, equipped with everything a person could ever dream of: hotels, apartments, restaurants, theaters, banks, houses, parks, shops, malls, stores, and anything else that can be imagined.
People are teleported to The Pathways seemingly at random. When a person is first teleported to The Pathways, a bank account is made in their name and money is continually deposited into the account. (Where this money comes from and who does this no one knows. But no one complains either!)
What force is at work behind the strange happenings in The Pathways and why are all of these universes connected in the first place? Why are people brought here against their will and why do some wish to never go back to their own universe? That is a tale that will slowly be uncovered as time wears on...
Deep in space, T.O.M. has rediscovered his old friend Moltar, and the two were transversing the galaxies together after T.O.M.'s retirement from broadcasting. However, the trip is short-lived as the Absolution's sensors pick up an anomaly in space. Investigations are cut short, as the ship and it's crew are pulled in. Crash-landing in a remote location on a planet that the Viewing Room has never picked up once, they soon discover dark forces are at work here, and it involves more than them or this new world. It involves EVERYTHING.
