"Child" form
"Adult" or true demon form
Character Name: Chrono
Nicknames/Psuedonames: Chrono the Sinner, Chrono the Broken Horn, Killer of 100 Million Demons, others
Character Age or Age Appearance: Appears 12-13 in his "child" form and 20+ in his "adult" or true form. His actual TRUE age is well over 100 years.
Race/Species: Demon...though those unknowning could mistake him for a human.
Physical Description: In his "child" form Chrono is around 5' 2" and has his long purple hair tied in a braid with a yellow ribbon at the end. He has fangs, pronounced canine teeth, red eyes, and pointed ears. In his true or "adult" demon form Chrono is 6' to 7' tall and has wings, long pointed ears, claws, and a "bone-like" tail that protrudes from the base of his skull which he can use as a sword and weapon.
Distinguishing Features: Purple hair that goes past his waist, red eyes, pointy ears, fangs, sharp canines, in demon form horns protrude from his head just above his ears and his features become more demon-like along with gaining a "bone tail" which comes from the base of his skull and wings.
Personal History: Chrono is a powerful demon who serves as Rosette's assistant in the field of "demon exorcisms." He was sealed away for 50 years until Rosette and Joshua Christopher released him.
He lost his demonic horns in a battle with a demon named Aion, 50 years prior to his befriending Rosette and Joshua. His horns were kept by Aion and later given to Rosette's brother, who's own 'powers' became unstable as a result. Chrono entered into a "contract" with Rosette after Joshua disappeared; This sealed most of his astral powers inside a pocket watch which Rosette carries.
When she opens the watch, it releases/loosens the seal, allowing Chrono to regain his full-powers and return to his 'adult' form. But for Chrono to do so, he must use up some of his contractor's life force-- subsequently shortening their life span as the clock ticks... so this is done only as a last resort.
Chrono is very patient, especially with Rosette. Most people are fearful of him, though he seems very understanding to this. He is polite and kind; the only thing that seems to make him angry is if someone he cares for (Rosette and/or Azmaria) is threatened or hurt.
He has remained by Rosette's side for years, searching for Joshua, while working for the Magdalin Order. He looks about 12-years-old in his "child" form-- having grown bone-like wings and appearing years older, his 'adult' form is considerably different from his childish one.
Personality: Chrono is a very loving guy, even though he had a horrifying past. Chrono looks short, but he's a lot taller in his true form. Chrono falls in love with Rosette and begs her not to waste her life for him.
Chrono is trusting of others, most specifically children, but is often exhasperated when Rosette destroys things (such as the Statue of Liberty, whole buildings, cars, and city blocks).
All of this however does NOT mean that Chrono is not dangerous. On the contrary, he can kill 100 million demons with ease and even without his horns Chrono was truely a demon to fear. Chrono has a HORRIBLE temper and once angered cannot be calmed down unless Rosette is present, even then it is extremely difficult to stop Chrono's rampage. When Chrono is angry his eyes glow and his voice deepens to his normal voice.
Magical Abilities/Special Skills: The ablity to stop time, fly, fire energy from his hands, wield a
Weaknesses: Heatbreak, sickness, holy water, other holy or blessed objects

Timeline: The end of the manga. Chrono has gotten back his horns and can take either his childish appearance or an appearance that is more "adult" like his demon form. Depending on the situation he often fluctuates between the two.
Chrono now can use all of his powers without hesitation...this includes slowing down or even stopping time: the main power of his horns. Chrono no longer has to worry about depleting his energy as The Pathways also have the Astral Lines which are bands of energy that demons such as Chrono gain their strength from.
