Physical Description: Slight build, almost like a woman. Long red hair, with a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek.
Distinguishing Features (What makes your character unique): The cross-shaped scar on his left cheek and his odd way of speaking.
Personal History: As a child, the village Kenshin lived in was destroyed and his parents murdered. He was the only one alive when the great swordsman Hiko Seijuro arrived on the scene.
Hiko took pity on the boy because he liked his eyes, and trained him in the ancient sword-style of Hiten Mitsurugi. By the time Kenshin was a teenager, a new war had begun in Japan, and Kenshin disobeyed his master and joined it as a hitokiri (or assassin). He killed many people, and eventually a woman came to him. Secretly her mission was to kill him in revenge for murdering her parents, but the two fell in love with eachother over time and married. Another assassin was sent, and Kenshin fought him (getting the first half of his scar. His now wife Tomoe jumped in the way of the battle, and was killed. As she fell, the knife in her hand gave Kenshin the rest of his famous scar. Kenshin vowed to never kill again, but unbeknownst to him, Tomoe's younger brother had witnessed the scene.
Years past and Kenshin became a Rurouni (or wandering samurai). He met new friends like Kaoru, Yahiko, and Sanosuke in Tokyo, and they had various adventures together. The biggest battles of Kenshin's life came during his Rurouni years, as he took on and defeated Shishio Mokoto (the new "Battosai") and Enishi Yukishiro, Tomoe's little brother who came back to drag him into hell.
After his battles were over, it was found out that the stresses of Hiten Mitsurugi were too much for a small body like Kenshin's, so he should never use the art again. He then resigned himself to a peaceful life.
Personality: Easygoing and laid-back when in a peaceful situation, he has an odd way of speaking.
Magical Abilities/Special Skills: Kenshin employs all of the techniques available to the Hiten Mitsurugi style, the most powerful being the Ama Kakeru Ryu no Hirameki (Heaven's Soaring Dragon Flash).
Weaknesses: His refusal to kill sometimes leaves him open to his enemies tactics. Also, due to the strain of his sword-style on his body, he suffers rare moments of chronic fatigue.

Timeline: A few months after the Jinchu arc, right after Kenshin and Kaoru get married. Kenshin was washing clothes when he thought he heard Tomoe's voice. He looked behind him and saw nothing. When he turned back around, he was standing in the pathways with his sakabato. He soon discovers that he can now use his abilities again, though it does weaken him. He is currently trying to gather his bearings and find a way back home.
